Expert exports
Expert exports is the place where you review, download, and delete files generated from Expert pages.
Open Expert exports, or use Expert -> Exports in the Sidebar.
What appears here
This page shows live export files that you created from Expert workspace surfaces, such as:
- Product Stewardship;
- Expert Categories;
- Expert Attributes;
- Expert Attribute Groups;
- Expert Companies;
- Expert Measures.
Expert exports belong to your Expert workspace activity. They are not attached to the currently selected company in the Sidebar, and company workspace permissions do not give another company user access to your expert-owned files.
Application Administrators can also see live exports from all users and scopes in Admin exports. The Expert exports page remains the normal personal result page for exports you queued from Expert pages.
How to find a completed file
When an Expert export finishes, Actualog sends a normal notification. Use:
- Download export in the notification when you need the file immediately.
- Open exports in the notification to open this Expert exports page.
- Expert -> Exports in the Sidebar when you want to find the file later.
The list is paged. Use the page-size control and page links when you have many exports.
What the list shows
Each row shows:
- export name and source page;
- the user who created it;
- format;
- status;
- exported, skipped, and failed counts;
- created time;
- expiry time;
- file size;
- download action;
- delete action.
Use the counts before sharing a file. A completed export with skipped or failed rows can still produce a file, but the counts explain that the result is partial.
Retention and deletion
Expert export files are temporary working files. The standard retention period is 30 days.
An export can be downloaded only while it is live, completed, not deleted, and not expired. Deleted and expired exports are hidden from the Expert exports list. If a file is no longer shown, it is not available for normal download from this page.
Deleting an export removes it from the list immediately and blocks the download route. Actualog then removes the backing private file through the export cleanup lifecycle.
Common issues
I exported from Expert Attributes but do not see the file in company exports. Open Expert -> Exports. Expert-page exports are owned by the Expert workspace, not by the selected company.
The notification says the export completed, but I cannot find it later. The file may have expired or been deleted. Export files are temporary; download important handoffs before the expiry time.
The file has fewer records than expected. Check the skipped and failed counts. Actualog rechecks access and record state during execution and can skip records that are no longer exportable.
All matching filters did not use my latest filter changes. Apply filters before queueing an all-matching export. Draft filter changes are not used as the export target set.
